Act of Duty, Indian Ocean First Foals

Bridlewood Farm stallions Act of Dutyand Indian Oceansired their first foals in mid-January. The two newborns, both fillies, were born at Bridlewood, owned by Arthur Appleton, near Ocala, Fla.

Indian Ocean's filly arrived first. She was foaled Jan. 9. Bred by Bridlewood manager George G. Isaacs, she is out of the Pentelicus mare Yasou Rob's Wife.

A graded stakes winner, Indian Ocean (Stormy Atlantic  --Indian Halo, by Halo) stands for $5,000.

 

Act of Duty's first offspring was born Jan. 12. Bred by Barrett Partners, she is out of the Mountain Cat mare Rissa's Cat, who is a half-sister to Italian champion Or Acier.

Act of Duty (Mr. Prospector--Nuryette, by Nureyev) also stands for $5,000.
