First Foals for Padua Stallions Proud Accolade and Pico Central

The first reported foals by grade I winner Proud Accoladeand Pico Centralarrived within two days of each other.

Proud Accolade's first offspring is a colt foaled Jan. 15 at Satish and Anne Sanan's Padua Stables near Summerfield, Fla., where both stallions stand. Bred by Padua, the colt is the second foal out of the winning Grand Slam  mare Clandestine.

Pico Central's first foal is also is a colt. Bred by Milan Kosanovich and foaled Jan. 17, the colt is the third foal from the stakes-placed Eltish mare Eltisha.

Pico Central (Spend a Buck--Sheila Purple, by Purple Mountain) stands for $7,500, and Proud Accolade (Yes It's True  --Proud Ciel, by Septieme Ciel) stands for $5,000.
