Artax's earlier stakes winners include New York grade I winner Friendly Michelle. Artax has career progeny earnings of $7 million

Twelve-year-old Artax (Marquetry--Raging Apalachee, by Apalachee) will stand for $6,500 live foal. He formerly stood at Metropolitan Stud near Pine Plains, N.Y.
