Saint Liam's First Foal Is A Colt

The first reported foal by Saint Liam is a colt born Jan. 11 at ClassicStar near Versailles, Ky. A son of Saint Ballado, Saint Liam was 2005 Horse of the Year and champion older male.

Bred by Riess Breeders, the newborn colt is out of the Seattle Slew mare Slewzig, dam of three stakes winners, including Angelica Slew (by Saint Ballado).

Saint Liam, who is out of the Quiet American  mare Quiet Dance, entered stud at William S. Farish's Lane End Farm near Versailles, Ky. He was euthanized last August after fracturing a leg.
