WinTicket.com Adds Mobile-Device Video Streaming

Edited press release

WinTicket.com, an affiliate account wagering site of AmericaTab, has added live video-streaming service to its mobile Web site, wap.winticket.com. By doing so, WinTicket.com becomes the first known account wagering provider to offer live video-streaming of races on mobile devices.

The live streaming video -- and the mobile wagering site itself -- is available to any current WinTicket.com account holder at no additional charge.  At the mobile Web site, the user may also view current odds, results, and other wagering information for any active racetrack. In order to view the live streaming video, the user’s device must be a PC phone with a current version of Microsoft Windows installed for mobile devices.

“We’re delighted to add live video to our mobile wagering platform,” said Mike Weiss, executive vice president for AmericaTab. “True to our mission, AmericaTab is committed to investing in the latest technology in an effort to deliver the best possible account wagering service in racing.”

Weiss said plans call for further expansion of the mobile Web site to include more detailed wagering information and video replays. “Essentially, we want to be able to offer the exact same experience on the normal WinTicket.com site to a mobile environment,” he said.

AmericaTab, the majority owners of which are Beulah Park and River Downs, two Ohio racetracks, operates a wagering hub in Oregon. It has a number of affiliate wagering Web sites under its umbrella.
