Racing at Portland Meadows was canceled Sunday and Monday after riders declared the track unsafe following a string of days in which the Oregon track has endured freezing temperatures.
The decision came to cancel came just before the racing program was scheduled to begin Sunday, according to the track.
With no significant break in the cold snap expected, Monday's card was also postponed.
Live racing is expected to resume on Tuesday, January 16 with a 12:35 p.m. first post.
