Agnes Gold, a stakes-winning son of Sunday Silence out of the group-winning Northern Taste mare, Elizabeth Rose, is moving from his native Japan to stand the 2007 breeding season at Roy Lerman’s Lambholm South in Reddick, Fla.
 
He will remain the property of Teruya Yoshida, who stood Agnes Gold for three seasons in Japan at Shadai Stallion Station and Lex Stud, from 2004-2006. His fee will be $5,000 live foal.

Bloodstock agent Eugenio Colombo, who negotiated the deal with Lerman and Yoshida, said the horse will spend a minimum of three seasons at his new farm.

Agnes Gold is a foal of 1998 who won his only start at two and took three of his six starts the following year. Included in those 2001 victories were the Fuji TV Sho Spring Stakes and the Kisaragi Sho Stakes, both at about nine furlongs on turf. 

Colombo said Agnes Gold is currently in quarantine in Japan but will be available for inspection during the upcoming OBS February select sale of 2-year-olds in training that begins Feb. 13.
