Point Ashley Booked to Storm Cat

Hill 'n' Dale Farms announced that Eclipse Award finalist and grade I winner Point Ashley, consigned by Hill 'n' Dale Sales Agency as agent for Zayat Stables and purchased by Hill 'n' Dale Bloodstock as agent, will be bred to leading sire Storm Cat.

"Point Ashley is already an accomplished grade I winner by Horse of the Year Point Given  , which is why we went to $1.8 million to purchase her,"said Hill 'n' Dale owner John Sikura. "As it was uncertain if she could make the Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) with the time off that she had, we felt it prudent to breed her this year."

Point Ashley, who is out of the Slew o' Gold mare Golden Thatch, won the Del Mar Debutante Stakes (gr. I) and ran second in the Oak Leaf Breeders' Cup Stakes (gr. I) for Zayat Stables.
