Grade II winner High Limit, who was scheduled to enter stud in 2007, has taken up training again with Bobby Frankel in Southern California.

Owned by Gary and Mary West, High Limit suffered an ankle injury that appeared to be career ending in the Santa Anita Handicap (gr. I) last March. According to the Wests' advisor, Ben Glass, the ankle is completely healed.

"He worked three-eighths of a mile the other day," Glass said.

Five-year-old High Limit returns to racing with five wins from a dozen races and earnings of $922,500. He was heading into a big year in 2006 before his injury. He had started the year with wins in the Strub Stakes (gr. II) and San Pasqual Handicap (gr. II).

High Limit (Maria's Mon--Known Romance, by Known Fact) was scheduled to stand for $6,500 at Cloverleaf Farms II near Reddick, Fla.
