Once again this season, HorseRacing TV will present live coverage of the 11-day Dubai Racing Carnival beginning Jan. 18.

The 11-day meet from the United Arab Emirates continues through March and culminates with Dubai World Cup day March 31. HRTV’s coverage, for the majority of the Dubai racing dates, will commence at 10:30 a.m. Eastern time. More than $30 million in purses will be paid during the meet.

Dubai World Cup day remains the sport’s richest day, with purses totaling $21 million. The card features four group 1 races, including the $6-million Dubai World Cup at 1 1/4 miles, the $5-million Dubai Sheema Classic at 1 1/2 miles on the turf, the $5-million Dubai Duty Free at a mile on the grass, and the $2-million Golden Shaheen at six furlongs.

HRTV will broadcast Dubai racing Jan. 18 and 25; Feb. 1, 8, 9, 15, 22, and 23; and March 1, 8 and 31.
