Grade II winner Don't Get Mad will enter at B. Wayne Hughes' Spendthrift Farm near Lexington. Don’t Get Mad, who raced for Hughes, will stand for $3,000.

Don't Get Mad, who was unbeaten in two starts as a 2-year-old, earned his way into the 2005 Kentucky Derby (gr. I) after a seven-length score in the mile Derby Trial Stakes at Churchill Downs. In the Run for the Roses, Don't Get Mad closed to finish a solid fourth behind Giacomo, Closing Argument, and Afleet Alex, beaten just 3 1/2 lengths.

Don't Get Mad won several other big stakes later that year. He captured the Indiana Derby (gr. II) over Scrappy T and Thor's Echo and the Northern Dancer Breeders' Cup Stakes (gr. III) at Churchill Downs. At Saratoga, he ran fourth in the Travers Stakes (gr. I).

A $350,000 Ocala Breeders' Sales 2-year-old, Don’t Get Mad retired with five wins from 13 races and earnings of $793,835. In his first two starts at 3, he placed in the San Vicente (gr. II) and San Felipe (gr. II) Stakes.

A son of Stephen Got Even  , Don't Get Mad is out of the graded stakes-placed Jolie's Halo mare Class On Class, who is a half-sister to grade II winner Class Kris, dam of graded winner Gradepoint.
