After more than 20 years at Calder Race Course, the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company’s February Selected Sale of 2-Year-Olds in Training will be held in Ocala and kicks off the juvenile sale season on Tuesday, Feb. 13. Catalogs won't be in the mail until next week, but you can access the catalog immediately through a visit to the OBS web site.  The catalog is indexed by sire, dam, consignor and state bred.

A total of 192 juveniles have been cataloged for the sale, scheduled to begin at  noon, Tuesday, Feb. 13 at the OBS sales pavilion on Airport Road. The Under Tack Shows are set for Sunday, Feb. 4 and Sunday, Feb. 11, starting both mornings at 9 a.m. Video of the workouts will be available for viewing on the Internet, at OBS and selected area motels.

The OBS February Sale will be broadcast live via the OBS web site. The 18th annual OBS Day of Champions race card will be held the day before the February sale on Monday, Feb.12, with first post time at 1:30 pm. This is the first year the OBS races will be run in February. They have been run previously on the day prior to the OBS March Sale of Selected Two-Year-Olds in Training, scheduled this year for March 27-28.
