Osidy, a graded stakes-winning son of Storm Cat, will enter stud at B. Wayne Hughes' Spendthrift Farm near Lexington. His fee is $4,000.

Bred and raced by Hughes, Osidy scored his major win in the 2005 Will Rogers Stakes (gr. IIIT) at a mile in 1:34.67 at Hollywood Park. The following year, he took the Blue Jay Way Stakes at about 6 1/2 furlongs on grass in 1:11.84 at Oak Tree.

Osidy began his career in France. As a 2-year-old, he won his first two starts and placed in the Prix La Rochette (Fr-III).

Five-year-old Osidy retired with four wins from 17 races and earnings of $297,187.

He placed in five U.S. stakes, three of which were graded, including the Del Mar Derby (gr. IIT).

Osidy is out the German champion Que Belle (by Seattle Dancer), whose dam is a half-sister to English champion Bakharoff and Dubai champion Emperor Jones.
