Graded Winner Leelanau to Menoken in Colorado

Leelanau, a graded stakes winner by Carson City, will stand at Linda Wood's Menoken Farms near Montrose, Colo. His fee is $1,500.

As a 2-year-old in 2001, Leelanau won both his starts, including the Kentucky Breeders' Cup Stakes (gr. III) in track-record time of 1:03.11 for 5 1/2 furlongs at Churchill Downs.

He was represented by several juvenile winners of 2006 from his first crop of foals.

Leelanau, who is out of the Kris S. mare Kris's Intention, formerly stood at Walmac Farm near Lexington.
