Gold Joy, a stakes-winning son of Joyeux Danseur, will stand at Clairmont Farm near Stony Mountain, Manitoba, Canada, for a fee of $1,000 (Canadian funds).

At Belmont Park as a 2-year-old in 2004, Gold Joy captured the 2004 Tremont Stakes and ran third in the Flash Stakes (gr. III).

A winner on grass at 3, he retired with seven wins or placings from 19 races and earnings of $134,530.

Gold Joy is out of the winning Gold Seam mare Lizzie Worthington, and his second dam is New York grade II winner Warfie.
