Braxton Lynch left Robert N. Clay's Three Chimneys Farm near Midway, Ky., at the end of 2006 to become more involved in the operation of Royal Oak Farm, which she and her husband, Damian, own. Lynch worked 12 years for Three Chimneys, half of that time as director sales. Most recently, she shared her director duties with Clays' son, Case.
"Three Chimneys has been wonderful to me," Lynch said. "I value the experience, the friendships, and the clients."
Located near Paris, Ky., Royal Oaks is a commercial breeding operation and sales agency. It has eight horses consigned to the Keeneland January horses of all ages auction. Lynch and her husband have owned the farm for five years.
Lynch said she also will be spending more time with her two sons, Dylan, 3, and Henry, 1 1/2.
