Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (gr. I) winner Dreaming of Anna could be heading to California for Santa Anita's major 3-year-old filly stakes.

Owner Frank Calabrese said Friday that he is considering the Feb. 10 Las Virgenes Stakes (gr. I) and March 11 Santa Anita Oaks (gr. I) for his undefeated Dreaming of Anna, the leading contender for the 2006 2-year-old filly championship.

"There are not too many (grade I) races available for her except those in California," Calabrese said, "so we're thinking about it."

Calabrese said that many racetrack officials have been calling in the hopes of luring Dreaming of Anna their direction.

"We'd rather not go east to west, so we're considering other options," said Calabrese, who added that he plans to make a final decision sometime after the first of the year.

Bred by Calabrese in Kentucky and conditioned by Wayne Catalano, Dreaming of Anna is currently training in Florida. The 2-year-old daughter of Rahy--Justenuffheart, by Broad Brush, set a Colonial Downs grass course record of 1:01.63 when capturing the Tippett Stakes. She took the Summer Stakes (Can-III) against males at Woodbine before her 1 1/2-length triumph in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies at Churchill Downs.
