Portland Meadows Expands Card, Ups Ante

Portland Meadows has expanded its Dec. 19 program and will offer two guaranteed pick four wagers each worth $15,000.

The Oregon racetrack is taking advantage of a quiet live-racing day around the country and is one of a handful of Thoroughbred tracks exporting signals.

The Magna Entertainment Corp.-owned track said if the first guaranteed pick four isn't hit, any money left after the best of four is paid will carry over into the second pick four.
