Calder Forum on Equine Health Set Dec. 20

Calder Race Course in conjunction with Fort Dodge Animal Health will offer a one-hour forum Dec. 20 on health maintenance practices and infection control in horses.

Horsemen are invited and the 10 a.m. forum is open to the public as well. It will be held at Calder's Winner's Edge Room on the second floor of the grandstand. Attendees should park in the horsemen's lot, located on the east side of the facility.

Dr. Rocky Bigbie, director of field veterinary services for Fort Dodge Animal Health, will present information specific to the equine herpes virus.
