The 3-year-old son of Unbridled's Song   was the odds-on favorite and defeated City Attraction by a neck in the $47,000 six-furlong event.

Visibility from the grandstand was close to zero when the horses loaded into the starting gate.

"They're off - and that's as much as I can tell you," track announcer Tom Durkin told the Big A crowd.

Half Ours, who carried the colors of Aaron and Marie Jones, had not raced since winning the Three Chimneys Juvenile Stakes at Churchill Downs in May of 2005.

The Joneses owned the colt with Barry K. Schwartz before Half Ours was consigned to the Keeneland November sale through Taylor Made Sales Agency to dissolve the partnership.

Schwartz was the immediate underbidder at that auction to Aaron Jones.

Half Ours' price established a record for a horse in training sold at Keeneland. Trained by Todd Pletcher, the colt has won all three of his career starts.

Ridden by John Velazquez, Half Ours ran the six furlongs in 1:10.96 on the fast track and paid $3.80, $2.70, and $2.60.

City Attraction returned $3.90 and $3.30.

Melodeeman paid $3.90 for show.
