Grade II Winner Trail City to Allaire in Washington

Grade II winner Trail City will stand at Bob and Barbara Meeking's Allaire Farms near Poulsbo, Wash.
Trail City, who won or placed in nine stakes, is the sire of 2006 stakes winners Sawtelle Belle and Skyline Trail, plus Trail Mix, who was an earlier stakes winner at Hollywood Park.
Trail City ranks ninth on this year's Washington sires list and has career progeny earnings of $1.4 million.
A 13-year-old son of
Red Ransom, Trail City won the Arlington Classic Stakes (gr. IIT) and Robert F. Carey Memorial Handicap on grass and finished first in the American Derby (gr. IIT) only to be disqualified and placed second.
He retired with earnings of $658,794.
Trail City, who is out of the Alydar mare Willow Runner, formerly stood at Patricia Youngman's Pepper Oaks Farm in California.
His fee will be announced later.
