Stakes Winner Lucky Pulpit to Harris Farms

Lucky Pulpit, a speedy stakes-winning son of Pulpit  , will enter stud at John Harris' Harris Farms near Coalinga, Calif.

Lucky Pulpit won the five-furlong Smile Stakes on grass in :56.50 at Arlington Park last year. As a 2-year-old, he placed in the Generous Stakes (gr. IIIT) and came within a nose of winning the Pinjara Stakes on grass at Santa Anita. In his first start at three, he ran second in the Santa Catalina Stakes (gr. II).

A 5-year-old, Lucky Pulpit retired with 13 wins and placings from 22 races and earnings of $209,928.

Major stallion Unbridled's Song   is under his graded stakes-winning second dam, Lucky Spell.

Lucky Pulpit, who is out of the winning Cozzene mare Lucky Soph, will stand for $2,500 live foal.
