First Winner for Forbidden Apple

Forbidden Apple, a grade I winner and millionaire, was represented by his first winner when his son, Forbidden Bear, won Nov. 30 at Woodbine in his first start. Bred in Florida by Guy Trolinger, Forbidden Bear won the six-furlong race in 1:12.27 for Bear Stables. He is the first foal from the Seattle Sleet mare Inaspecial Way.
Forbidden Apple, whose big win came in the Manhattan Handicap (gr. IT), is by Pleasant Colony out of the Northfields mare North Of Eden. He stands at Arthur I. Appleton's Bridlewood Farm near Ocala, Fla.
