Porto Foricos, Sire of Champion My Vintage Port, to Clear Creek

Porto Foricos, sire of Canadian champion My Vintage Port, has been relocated to Val Murrell's Clear Creek Stud near Folsom, La., where he will stand for $1,500 live foal.

My Vintage Point was voted Canada's champion juvenile filly of 2003 after winning three important stakes. She also was a multiple stakes winner at 3 and earned a career total of $734,353.

Porto Foricos also is the sire of two-time Canadian stakes winner Enough Is Enough, who earned $244,537, and $100,000-plus earners Oriental Doll and Honest Accountant.

An 11-year-old son of Mr. Prospector, Porto Foricos is a half-brother to Cartier Award winner Gay Gallanta and Irish group II winner Sportsworld. He is out of French stakes winner Gallanta (by Nureyev) and is from the same family as Weekend Surprise and A.P. Indy. He formerly stood at Schonberg Farm in Ontario, Canada.
