(from CHRB release)
Trainer Richard Baltas is serving a 15-day suspension issued by stewards at Bay Meadows and he was fined $2,500 after a horse he ran Feb. 4 tested positive for a pair of Class 3 prohibited substances.

Magic Destiny won the eighth race at Bay Meadows that day.

According to the California Horse Racing Board, Magic Destiny tested positive for the substances hydroxyzine and cetirizine. Hydroxyzine is a medication prescribed for chronic allergies; cetirizine is a pharmacologically active metabolite of hydroxyzine.

Baltas' suspension began Nov. 19 and is to run through Dec. 3.

Stewards ordered that the purse from the race be redistributed.
