Quick Action to Vessels in California

Multiple stakes winner Quick Action will move to Vessels Stallion Farm near Bonsall, Calif., for the 2007 season, co-owner Eddie Martin announced.

Vessels has purchased a 50% interest in Quick Action and will stand the 5-year-old son of Carson City in partnership with Martin Stables. Quick Action stood at Martin Stables South near Reddick, Fla., in 2006 in his first season at stud.

"Given his consistent early speed and his royal pedigree that produces precocious, class horses, Vessels Stallion Farm is the perfect place for Quick Action," Martin said.

Quick Action is out of the Storm Bird mare Indian Sunset, and his second dam is a full sister to Terlingua, dam of Storm Cat (by Storm Bird). Quick Action will stand for a private fee.
