Swiss Yodeler, the sire of TVG Breeders' Cup Sprint (gr. I) winner Thor's Echo, will stand in 2007 for $10,000, up from $7,500 this year.

The 12-year-old sire of 15 stakes winners stands at Patricia Youngman's Pepper Oaks Farm near Santa Ynez, Calif.

"Swiss Yodeler is leading the general sire list and 2-year-old sire list in California. He is ranked nationally on those same lists as well as the international sires list," Heinz Steinmann, who raced the son of Eastern Echo, said. "Not only is he one of the superior stallions in California, but his offspring are proving themselves capable of racing everywhere. This level of accomplishment certainly justifies the increase and has helped improve the overall quality of mares being booked to him."
