Jade Hunter to Liberty in New York

Jade Hunter, whose daughter Azeri is North America's richest female earner, has arrived for stallion duty at Liberty Stud near Ghent, N.Y., where he will stand for $5,000 live foal under the management of Questroyal Stud.
A 22-year-old son of Mr. Prospector, Jade Hunter has sired 43 stakes winners and the earners of $36.1 million.
Azeri, who won 11 grade I stakes and earned $4,079,820, was a four-time champion, including 2002 Horse of the Year. Her big score came in that year's Breeders' Cup Distaff (gr. I).
Jade Hunter also has sired grade I winners Diazo, Stuka, and millionaire Yagli, as well as grade II winners Halory Hunter and Jade Flush.
Jade Hunter, who is out of the Pharly mare Jadana, won the Donn (gr. I) and Gulfstream Park (gr. I) Handicaps in consecutive starts. He last stood at Hill 'n' Dale Farms near Lexington and before that at Brookside Farms near Versailles, Ky.
