Jockey Russell Baze won one race Wednesday and is now 18 victories away from becoming the leading jockey in Thoroughbred racing history.

Baze won with one of his five mounts – the second with Double Action ($5.80) – and now owns 9,513 victories.

Laffit Pincay Jr. holds the all-time win mark of 9,530.
