Godolpin's Librettist, a multiple French group I winner this year, has been retired to stud at Sheikh Mohammed's Dalham Hall Stud near Newmarket, England. The 4-year-old son of Danzig will stand for £10,000 (approximately $19,000).

Librettist, whose group I-winning half-brother, Dubai Destination, stands at Dalham Hall, won three French group stakes this year, including the group I events Prix du Haras de Fresnay le Buffard-Jacques le Marois and Prix du Moulin de Longchamp. Librettist also was a stakes winner in England this year.

Librettist, who ran unplaced in the Nov. 4 NetJets Breeders' Cup Mile (gr. IT), retired with seven wins from 10 races and earnings of $798,975. His dam, Mysterial (by Alleged), is a half-sister to English and French group I winner Agnes World (by Danzig) and to Japanese champion Hishi Akebono.
