Eltish, a Breeders' Cup Juvenile (gr. I) runner-up, will stand the 2007 breeding season at Dan and Kathy Barraclough's Saratoga Glen Farm near Saratoga Springs, N.Y., after previously standing at Live Oak Stud near Ocala, Fla.

"I think he is an exciting addition to New York's stallion ranks," Dan Barraclough said. "He is impeccably made, a proven sire of graded stakes horses, and an outcross for most New York mares."

A 14-year-old son of Cox's Ridge out of the Danzig mare Nimble Feet, Eltish has sired nine stakes winners, including graded winner Barbara O'Brien and 2006 added-money winners El Bank Robber and Shananies Song. His other stakes performers include Puerto Rican grade I winners Kud'zu Magic (a champion) and Eltish Thunder, plus Erinsouthernman, who placed in the Champagne Stakes (gr. I).

As a racehorse, Eltish was one of the best 2-year-olds in England, winning two group events and placing in a group I. In addition to the Juvenile, he placed in three other U.S. stakes, including the Philip H. Iselin Handicap (gr. I). He ran third in the Arlington Citation Challenge Invitational Stakes, won by Cigar.

Eltish will stand as the property of Gary Olsen for a fee of $3,500 live foal, the same fee he commanded in 2006.
