Stakes winner Talk Is Money, a successful second-crop sire, will stand at Carl Lizza and Joe Bartone's Highcliff Farm near Delanson, N.Y.

An 8-year-old son of Deputy Minister, Talk Is Money is the sire this year of stakes winner Blazing Sunset and stakes-placed Grandma W. and Money Code. Three-year-old Blazing Sunset won the Alydar Stakes at Hollywood Park and placed in the $250,000 Iowa Derby.

Talk Is Money, who scored by 9 3/4 lengths in his sole start as a 2-year-old, won or placed in three stakes. One of his yearling colts commanded $250,000 at this year's Fasig-Tipton Kentucky July yearling sale.

Talk Is Money, whose dam, Isle Go West (by Gone West), is a half-sister to prominent sire Hennessy, will stand for $5,000, half the amount he stood for in 2006 at Millennium Farms near Lexington.
