Stonewall Farm Stallions announced A. P. Warrior will enter stud in 2007 for a fee of $20,000 live foal at Stonewall near Versailles, Ky. The 3-year-old son of A.P. Indy--Warrior Queen, by Quiet American  , is bred on the same cross that produced Bernardini. A grade II winner on dirt and turf, A. P. Warrior has been retired sound and arrived at Stonewall yesterday.

"This is not your typical A.P. Indy," said Stonewall director of stallions Ken Wilkins. "He broke his maiden first out in July by four lengths going 5 1/2 furlongs and was among the top 2-year-olds last year. A quick look at the pedigree explains his precocity--his dam was a topweighted sprinter in Europe and his third dam is a half-sister to champion 2-year-old Storm Bird."

A. P. Warrior won or placed in nine of 13 races and earned $548,595.
