Miesque's Approval Drills at Calder for BC Mile

(from Calder notes)Live Oak Plantation's Miesque's Approval, who is being readied for the NetJets Breeders' Cup Mile (gr. IT) by trainer Marty Wolfson, worked four furlongs at Calder Race Course in :49 2/5 early Saturday morning.
His stable mate, Pomeroy, is scheduled to breeze five furlongs from the starting gate Sunday morning at about 7:45 a.m. Pomeroy is owned by David Hutson's Silverleaf Farm and is training for the final race of his career, the TVG Breeders' Cup Sprint. The 5-year-old horse is to then enter stud duty.
