(from Hollywood Park track notes)Trainer John Sadler on Wednesday welcomed 15 horses to his Hollywood Park stable from veteran owner Edmund Gann, who transferred them from Bobby Frankel after an alliance of more than 30 years.
"No reason; everything was mutual," said Gann of the move, as he visited the Sadler barn with his wife, Bernice.
Sadler said Louvain, Seafree, and Art Moderne head the group.
Sadler said he also picked up Peter and Zoe from the Frankel barn for owner Ed Martin and nominated him to Hollywood Park's opening-day Bien Bien Stakes for 3-year-olds on turf.
Healthy Addiction is scheduled to work seven furlongs at Hollywood Friday, Sadler said, and is to arrive in Kentucky Oct. 31 for the Breeders' Cup Distaff at Churchill Downs Nov. 4.
