Elusive Quality , who stands at Sheikh Mohammed's Darley at Jonabell near Lexington, will retain the same $100,000 fee that he first stood for the year after his son, Smarty Jones, nearly made off with the 2004 Triple Crown. Thirteen-year-old Elusive Quality (
Gone West--Touch of Greatness, by Hero's Honor) has sired six stakes winners this year.
Darley at Jonabell also will keep the fee of
Cherokee Run (
Runaway Groom--Cherokee Dame, by
Silver Saber) at the same $40,000 that he stood for in 2006. The farm also set fees for Street Cry ($30,000), Consolidator ($20,000), Quiet American ($20,000), Rockport Harbor ($20,000), E Dubai ($15,000), Holy Bull ($15,000), Kafwain ($10,000), and Offlee Wild ($10,000). Rossini's fee will be announced later.
