I'madrifter, a Washington champion and graded stakes winner, was euthanized Oct. 12 because of complications from a broken pastern. Owned by Danny O'Neill, the 8-year-old stallion stood in 2006 at Oakhurst Thoroughbreds and Equine Veterinary Services near Newburg, Ore.

Bred by Paulson Bros Ranch and Roy Dane, I'madrifter (Slewdledo--Exploded's Girl, by Exploded) was voted 2003 Washington champion older male after winning the Berkeley (gr. III) and Lafayette Handicaps and placing in two stakes. He retired with seven wins from 25 starts and earnings of $291,212 for O'Neill.

I'madrifter first stood in California, and his first foals are yearlings.
