Five Star Day's Fee Bumped to $20,000

Five Star Day , a leading second-crop stallion, will undergo a stud fee increase at Wintergreen Stallion Station near Midway, Ky. Five Star Day (Carson City--Reggie V by Vanlandingham) will stand in 2007 for $20,000, up from $15,000. This year, he is the sire of seven stakes winners and ranks 12th on the second-crop list by progeny earnings.
Ecton Park, who ranks 15th among second-crop stallions, will stay at $12,500. A son of Forty Niner out of the Danzig mare Daring Danzig, he is the sire of four stakes winners this year.
Wintergreen, owned by John Greely IV and his brother, trainer C. Beau Greely, will stand
Borrego for $20,000,
Honour and Glory for $12,500;
Pollard's Vision for $10,000, and
Century City for $5,000.
