Although Del Mar Debutante (gr. I) winner Point Ashley was not among them, Zayat Stables pre-entered three horses Monday for the Nov. 4 Breeders' Cup Wolrd Championships at Churchill Downs.

Sohby Sonbol, vice president of Ahmed Zayat's Zayat Stables, said Zayat pre-entered three others. Got the Last Laugh, a Bill Mott trainee who won the Arlington Breeders' Cup Futurity (gr. III) and has been pre-entered in the Bessemer Trust Juvenile (gr. I), along with maiden winner Malt Magic. Jon Court has the mount on Malt Magic. Rene Douglass, who was aboard in the Arlington race, will ride Got the Last Laugh.

Zayat's Juvenile Fillies (gr. I) entrant is Baroness Thatcher. Although her owner and trainer Dale Romans believe Baroness Thatcher is one of the best fillies in the country, Sonbol said there is a possibility she will not get in the Juvenile Fillies if the race is oversubscribed because she lacks graded earnings. The daughter of Point Given   finished second at Churchill Downs in her career debut, followed with an eighth-place finish in maiden company at Saratoga, and broke her maiden Oct. 7 at Keeneland.

Edgar Prado has been booked on Baroness Thatcher.

"We think she is a top class filly even though she has not been able to prove it in grade I company," Sonbol said of Baroness Thatcher. "We think she's one of the better fillies in the country. Edgar (Prado) contacted Dale (Romans) and said this is the one he wanted to ride."

The deadline for pre-entries was Monday, with the complete list to be released at 10 a.m. (Eastern) Wednesday. The list and accompanying articles about the pre-entries will be posted at bloodhorse.com at 10 a.m.
