Martin Named VP of Racing for Woodbine Group

(from Woodbine Entertainment Group release)Jamie Martin has been promoted to senior vice president of racing for the Woodbine Entertainment Group, the company announced.
In this capacity, Martin will assume overall responsibility for both WEG's Thoroughbred and Standardbred racing operations.
Martin has overseen the company's Standardbred Racing operations for the past six years. Prior to joining Woodbine, Martin was racing and gaming manager at Western Fair Raceway in London, Ontario.
The company said Bruce Murray will assume the position of vice president for Standardbred racing, reporting to Martin.
Murray has many years of experience in the horse racing industry and with WEG, most recently as director of events and marketing.
Martin's appointment becomes effective immediately.
