Mazel Trick, a California track-record setter, has arrived at Lorne Embree's Canmor Farms near Aldergrove, British Columbia, Canada, where he will stand for $3,500 in Canadian funds. He stood in 2006 at Regal Heir Farms in Pennsylvania.
Mazel Trick is represented this year by grade II winner Major Success and multiple added-money winners Outcashem and My Lucky Free. At Santa Anita, Major Success captured the Palos Verdes Handicap (gr. II) and ran second in the San Carlos Handicap (gr. II).
Overall, Mazel Trick is represented by 14 runners that have won or placed in stakes and the earners of $6.4 million.
Mazel Trick, an 11-year-old son of Phone Trick out of the Ramahorn mare Mazatleca, won the 1999 Triple Bend Breeders' Cup Invitational Handicap (gr. II) in track-record time of 1:19.97 for seven furlongs at Hollywood Park. He won two other graded stakes and earned $435,640.
