First Winners for Invisible Ink, Malabar Gold

Invisible Ink, runner-up in the 2001 Kentucky Derby (gr. I), and graded stakes winner Malabar Gold were represented by their first winners - both fillies - Oct. 13.

Twice a Princess, by Invisible Ink, won in 1:48.32 for a mile and 70 yards at Woodbine for Two Amigos Stable. Bred in Florida by Bonny Doon Farm, she is the third foal and third winner from the Gilded Time mare Deliver On Time.

Invisible Ink (Thunder Gulch  --Conquistress, by Conquistador Cielo) stands at Jim and Sheila DiMare's Rising Hill Farm near Ocala, Fla. His 2006 fee was $3,500.

Malabar Gold's daughter, Golden Dreamer, scored at Belmont Park in her first start. Bred in New York by Jeffry Morris' Highclere, she won the 5 1/2 furlong race in 1:05.16 for Paraneck Stable. Golden Dreamer is the first foal from the Indian Charlie mare West Indian.

Malabar Gold (Unbridled--Stormy Spell, by Tsunami Slew) stands at Highclere near Lexington. His 2006 fee was $7,500.
