All-Weather Records Added to Brisnet Past Performances

Brisnet.com is now publishing individual all-weather-surface records for all horses in its past performances.

The designation "AW" will appear as a separate line in the past performances of each horse. It will appear with the other categories, such as records at a specific racetrack or on off tracks.

Brisnet.com said the information is critical, given the new Polytrack at Keeneland, which opened Oct. 6, and the Nov. 1 opening of Hollywood Park - which has installed a synthetic cushion track.

Before Keeneland opened, the only North American tracks with synthetic surfaces were Turfway Park and Woodbine.
