Aggadan to Stand at Monhill Farm in New York

Aggadan, a stakes winning son of Carnivalay, has been retired and will enter stud in 2007 at Bernardo Mongil III's Monhill Farm in Pine Plains. N.Y. He will by syndicated and stand for $7,500.
The 7-year-old horse is a three-time restricted stakes winner in Maryland who also placed in 14 stakes, four of them graded contests. His best year was in 2004 when he won the Jennings Handicap and Challedon Stakes and ran second to Horse of the Year
Ghostzapper in both the Vosburgh Stakes (gr. I) and Tom Fool Handicap (gr. II).
Aggadan last raced in February, when a foot problem sent him to the sidelines. In all, he won 12 of 42 starts, with 14 seconds and five thirds. He earned $860,306.
Aggadan is out of the Horatius mare Goergia K., who is a full sister to stakes winner Forry Cow How and is also the dam of stakes winner Love You Madly (by Partner's Hero).
Bred in Maryland by Charles and Cynthia McGinnes, Aggadan raced for Sanford Goldfarb, Michael Dubb, Neil Rosenfeld, and Jack Hochman. He was trained by Rick Dutrow.
