Multiple graded stakes winner Lazy Lode tops a field of seven entered to the Grade II Arcadia Handicap at 1 1/8 miles on the turf. The Arcadia was run for the previous 13 years as the El Rincon Handicap

Lazy Lode will carry highweight of 121 pounds and will break from post position No. 2.

"This race should set him up real good for a 10-furlong race in Singapore next month," said trainer Richard Mandella, who was considering the San Juan Capistrano Handicap April 14 for the 7-year-old Argentine-bred's next start. "I love that race but it would probably knock him out for awhile."

The field for the Arcadia Handicap, from the rail out with jockeys and weights: Kerrygold, David Flores, 116; Lazy Lode, Laffit Pincay Jr., 121; Sarafan, Gary Stevens, 114; Night Patrol, Jose Valdivia Jr., 112; Res Judicata, Victor Espinoza, 113; Wake The Tiger, Garrett Gomez, 113, and Eagleton, Joey Castro, 113.
