Forest Grove, a grade III stakes winner by
Forestry , will stand in 2007 at Brereton Jones' Airdrie Stud near Midway, Ky. His fee will be $7,500.
A homebred for Aaron and Maries Jones, Forest Grove is out of the Batonnier mare Charm a Gendarme and a half-brother to grade I winner Tout Charmant.
Five-year-old Forest Grove won the Los Angeles Times Handicap (gr. III) last May and made just one more start, finishing 10th in the Triple Bend Handicap (gr. I) in July. He was then retired and sent to Taylor Made Farm, where the Joneses keep their horses and stand Forestry, but did not stand at stud this year.
As a 3-year-old, Forest Grove won a division of the Paterson Stakes. He won five of 16 races and earned $281,130.
Forest Grove was produced from the graded stakes winner Charm a Gendarm, the dam of multiple grade I winner Tout Charmant.
