With Distinction to Stand at Hartley/De Renzo

With Distinction, a grade II-winning son of
Storm Cat, has been purchased to stand at Hartley/De Renzo Thoroughbreds near Ocala, Fla. A fee will be announced when the 5-year-old horse is retired from racing.
In his first start of the year, With Distinction won the El Conejo Handicap (gr. II) at Santa Anita. He has also run second or third in six other stakes, four of them graded.
With six wins, nine seconds, and two thirds from 29 starts, With Distinction has earnings of $447,717.
Bred in Kentucky by Will Farish, With Distinction raced for the Robert and Beverly Lewis Trust and is trained by D. Wayne Lukas. Out of the Alydar mare Extravagant Woman, he is a half-brother to grade II winner Living Vicariously and grade I stakes-placed Resort.
