Littleexpectations Moving Back to Millennium Farms Kentucky

Littleexpectations, represented by his first stakes winner from his first crop Sept. 23 when King of the Roxy won the grade II Belmont Futurity, will move back from Texas to Kentucky for the 2007 breeding season.

A full brother to leading Texas sire Valid Expectations  , Littleexpectations stood his first two years at Millennium Farms Kentucky near Lexington and then was moved to Drs. Ken and Linda Quirk's Q6 Ranch near Belton, Texas, for the 2005 and 2006 breeding seasons.

Owned by Millennium Stallions and Ackerley Brothers, he will return to Ro Parra's Millennium Farms Kentucky for 2007. The 9-year-old stallion stood for $3,500 this year. No fee for 2007 was announced.

By Valid Appeal out of the Iron Constitution mare Mepache, Littleexpectations won two six-furlong stakes at two and was stakes-placed at three, running third in Keeneland's Lafayette Stakes (gr. III).

Littleexpectations has 40 foals in his initial crop and already has been represented by 12 starters and seven winners that have earned $351,363. Those earnings place him sixth on the freshman sires list.

"We have always had great faith in Littleexpectations, and that faith is being rewarded," said Millennium Farms manager Elke Krohn. "He is a superb looking horse, undefeated at two, and a full brother to a superior sire. We believe Littleexpectations will add an important dimension to the breeding ranks here, and prove very popular."
