(Edited New York Breeders' Sales Co. press release)

The New York Breeders' Sales Company will hold a fall mixed sale on October 15, beginning at 11:00 a.m. (ET) at the Saratoga Race Course. There are 308 horses in the catalogue.

The auction will include an inaugural select weanling session with 70 head, 67 of which are registered New York-breds. Among the other sale offerings will be 79 horses from the Lakland North New York breeding program.

"To date, a key element missing in the New York equation has been the existence of a New York-bred weanling sale," said Chester Broman, president of New York Breeders' Sales. "The New York Breeders' Sales Company is committed to developing this market for breeders and buyers."

New York Breeders' Sales will be offering an incentive package for buyers, which includes a reimbursement of travel expenses for shoppers who spend a certain amount of money.
