The New York Breeders' Sales Company will hold a Fall Mixed Sale Oct. 15, 2006 beginning at 11 a.m. at Saratoga Race Course.

The sale will feature an inaugural select weanling session of 70 outstanding weanlings, 67 of which are registered New York-breds.

In addition, the sale will include 79 horses from the Lakland North New York breeding program which has produced such stellar racehorses as New York-bred millionaire Fleet Indian and New York-bred graded stakes winner Behaving Badly.

"To date, a key element missing in the New York equation has been the existence of a New York-bred weanling sale," said president Chester Broman.

The New York Breeders' Sales Company is committed to developing this market for breeders and buyers."

The sales company will be offering an incentive package for buyers, which includes a reimbursement of travel expenses for buyers who spend a certain amount of money.
